Founder Lisa Turner Levison

Lisa Turner Levison, an Atlanta native and cross-contamination prevention pioneer,

is the founder and CEO of Derma-Glove, LLC.  After several years of research and development, Lisa invented derma-glove®, one of the worlds most revolutionary hand hygiene solutions ever developed. Since dermalove's inception, Lisa has jettisoned herself into the outer realm of dermatological and decontaminating technology, creating an entire line of hand and body hygiene products.

Her interest in such unique products was ignited by the epidemiology leaders of America’s leading hospitals. On August 5, 2009, Lisa's research and development team flew to Chicago to introduce one of the few products in the country, chosen among several, to be considered as an improvement to the Joint Commission's 46 step hand hygiene protocol. At this meeting, Lisa was asked to present a hygiene concept that would safely and successfully combine hygiene protocol requirements with hand health repair. After identifying and understanding what was causing Health Care Workers (HCW) not to follow protocols, Lisa promised to develop and patent a simple solution to meet the guidelines required by the FDA’s hand hygiene monograph.

In conjunction with Lisa's unconventional approach to creative thinking and after several months of research, clinical studies, testing and ongoing business development, a final product line and state of the art bio-hygiene-technology was designed: dermaglove® with invis- 0-bond™ technology. The goal was to introduce a product line with patented science and technology that instantly kills germs while the long-lasting skin bond repairs, restores and returns the skin back to a healthy state in less than 8 hours (the length of a shift). This revolutionary skin bonding science protects and restores from the inside out for a prolonged period of time while increasing the bodies outer hydration levels by an average of 75%. This same skin bonding technology can also be applied to other skin care solutions as an enhancement or a facilitator that has the ability to infuse and hold agents within the bond itself.

Lisa is not just any entrepreneur, but an entrepreneur with an almost superhuman passion for what she is doing: educating and reminding the masses about the importance of not forgetting the nightmarish-like dangers posed through the cross-contamination of bacteria and germs.  For over 20 years, her uncanny ability to take ideas and deliver optimum solutions has allowed her to build, own and operate Decontamination Restoration Service (DRS) and Turner Capital Inc (TCI).

Previously, Lisa also served as Chief Executive Officer of Innovative Design Ideas, Inc. (IDI). There she led the design and implementation of all sales and marketing strategies. Under her leadership and guidance, IDI was honored with the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce Startup Business of the Year Award in 1996 and recognized again by the State of Florida in 2002 for the ability to successfully hold facility service related contracts longer than any known or published small woman owned business.  By staying ahead of the trends and indoor environmental  issues, Lisa begin to focus on large scale facilities such as the FAA, Delta Airlines, Homebanc, Lockheed-Martin, and the Georgia Lottery. Her transition from Florida to Georgia in 2002 resulted in great success after winning contracts with these facilities.

Certified as an Indoor Environmentalist by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) currently known as The Clean Trust, Lisa's area of expertise rest in applied microbial remediation , health & safety of indoor environments, water damage restoration, upholstery cleaning, fabric cleaning, carpet cleaning, fabric color repair, odor control, fire restoration and smoke restoration. These certifications have allowed Lisa to be able to introduce various certification programs to many of Atlanta's large scale facilities. The Aqua-Green-Clean® Certification Program was a program that received rave reviews from the Georgia Aquarium. This program was initiated to streamline their current processes, bring added value into your existing departmental procedures while improving standards and preventing cross-contamination between staff, guests and aquatic life.

Applying the same knowledge as used when creating dermaglove, Lisa also created a unique line of infection control products with invis- 0-bond™ technology. These products are used in conjunction with the various certification programs offered to large facilities.

Lisa is not only able to implement these unique programs but she is also equipped to train and provide certifications to organizations as well as individuals.  In addition to her many accomplishments, Lisa is also a 2005-2006 recipient of the Heritage's Registry of Who's Who and continues to serve as the architect and brains behind the dermaglove® product line.

Healthcare Protocols -- are they hurting more than helping?

When  derma glove was developed, we understood that hydration and skin recovery timelines were a major concern in the medical community. It was clear from our initial research that most HCW’s cannot wait 14-days to achieve hand health relief after the repetitious use of sanitizers and constant hand washing.
