3 Steps for Healthy Skin

3 Steps for Healthy Skin

We all want healthy skin, however the best way to get there is a widely debated topic. Some say that diet has nothing to do with it, some say it has everything to do with it. I'm here today to tell you the best 3 steps to take today that I've found throughout my years of study, research, and personal experience.

Step 1: Eat more Probiotics

We all hear the commercials and even our doctors tell us to consume more probiotics, but what really is a "Probiotoc?" According to WebMD, " Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for your health, especially your digestive system." So, where do we find these health bacteria? Probiotics are typically found in fermented and/or cultured foods, such as yogurt, sauerkraut, and even Miso Soup! There are a ton of foods out there that contain probiotics, and I encourage you to look them up to shape your diet plan according to the foods you like. There are even probiotic supplements for the picky eater!

Step 2: Eat Healthy, Unsaturated Fats, Vitamins, and Nutrients

The average person consumes their fair-share of processed foods, which are lacking in essential nutrients, fats, and vitamins. In order to ingest more of these essential supplements, take an active approach to eating a less processed diet. Fresh foods contain the nutrient-dense and vitamin-rich qualities your body and skin need to be healthy, glowing, and radiant.

Step 3: Be Cautious with What you Put on Your Skin

Last but not least, be careful with what you put on your skin! Lots of soaps, sanitizers, etc. may not be good for your skin even if they're advertised to be. According to Mona Gohara, MD, Associate Clinical Professor, Yale Department of Dermatology, “Soap has a high pH and strips the skin of essential lipids and proteins lost during cleansing. Standard bar soap that has harsh surfactants is strongly discouraged when it comes to skin care. Ordinary soap  strips your skin of natural lipids and proteins, destroying the skin barrier, leaving it dry, cracked, more easily irritated and inflamed.”

dermaglove products are the only innovative products that take a 2-in-1 approach to sanitizing and moisturizing. The overuse of sanitizers and soaps deplete the skin causing secondary issues such as dry hands that are cracked and irritated as mentioned above. After years of research and development, dermaglove has developed a product line that allows you to keep your skin clean and sanitized while increasing its moisture by 75%! No other product in the market has successfully produced the 2-in-1 solution that dermaglove has.
